Tiny Diggers and Big Burgers
Will pushed his favorite Blue Toy Digger through the tall grass. Cat trotted right behind him, her tail twitching with excitement. Suddenly, the big yellow scoop hit something hard. Clack! Will stopped and gasped.
Under the big tree was a giant, dark hole. Will peeked inside with wide eyes. 'Hello?' he called out. Cat sniffed the edge. Deep down in the earth, tiny bright lights began to flicker on.
Three little Chef Rats popped their heads out! They wore tiny white hats and carried miniature silver spatulas. Will clapped his hands and cheered. 'Squeak!' said the rats, waving their little paws.
Will wanted to help his new friends build. He used his Blue Toy Digger to scoop up clean dirt, clearing a path. The Chef Rats scurried around, carrying tiny wooden boards and building a beautiful underground restaurant.
Down inside the cozy Underground Kitchen, the grill was sizzling. Will and Cat looked around in pure awe. The warm lanterns made everything glow. The Chef Rats flipped tiny, perfect bean-sized burgers into the air.
Dada came outside looking for Will. Will pulled Dada's hand, giggling. 'Look, Dada! Burgers!' Dada bent down and laughed in surprise as a tiny rat waiter served him a burger on a green leaf.
They all ate together under the stars. It was a grand, silly feast. As Will cuddled close to Dada, he noticed a tiny, shiny silver fork sitting right at the edge of the grass, waiting for tomorrow's big lunch.
