Shadows in the Empty Hall
The cardboard boxes stood like giant, silent towers. Tamal held Dinosaur tight, looking at the bare walls where his favorite pictures used to hang. Everything was packed, and the old house felt mysteriously large and unfamiliar.
Suddenly, a strange shadow stretched across the wooden floor. It had jagged scales and a long, swaying tail. Tamal gasped. Was a secret creature hiding in the empty corners of his old home?
Tamal crept closer, his heart beating a little faster. He wore his Green Cape for extra superhero bravery. Dinosaur marched right beside him, ready to face the mysterious shadow-beast together.
Around the corner, the shadow-beast giggled. It was grandmother Rose, holding a green leafy houseplant that cast a funny shape in the sunset light. 'The truck is ready, superhero,' Rose whispered warmly.
Tamal looked down. 'I do not want to go,' he admitted softly, hugging Dinosaur. 'What if the new house does not have any adventures?' Rose knelt down, wrapping them both in a big, safe hug.
They walked out to the giant Moving Truck. Inside, the boxes looked like a dark, mysterious cavern waiting to be explored. Tamal took a deep breath, feeling his superhero courage return.
Inside the truck, tucked between two large boxes, Tamal spotted a tiny, glowing green marble. It sat perfectly still in a small wooden groove. He decided to leave it there, a secret treasure for the next travelers to find.
