Three Dragons and a Sleepy Dog
Juni had a very important morning job. She carried Fish in his round glass bowl, and she carried three drawings of a green dragon tucked under her arm. Fish blew a bubble. It meant he was ready for a picnic.
She found a sunny patch of grass under the oak and spread out the Picnic Blanket. Teal was her favorite color, so she smoothed every corner flat. Then she parked Fish in the middle, where he could watch the clouds.
"Look, Fish," said Juni. "This dragon is Sparkle. This one is Grumble. And this one is Sparkle's cousin." She held up all three drawings. Their green tails curled like sleepy ferns.
Just then a breeze came skipping across the grass. It tugged the first drawing, then the second, then the third. Up they went, flapping like green birds, and away they sailed over the fence toward the lane.
Juni gasped. Fish pressed his nose to the glass. The drawings were tumbling away, and Juni had to decide fast.
The breeze is blowing the drawings away. What does Juni do?
